  • Polling and surveys: Use polling and surveys to inform messaging and identify target groups effectively.
  • Strategic insight: Follow the public debates in Norway and Denmark to identify where strategic communications can be usefully deployed in order to speed up the net-zero transition.

Our ideal candidate has

  • Professional experience in communications, PR or journalism, ideally with a track record of handling media relations in Denmark and/or Norway.
  • A demonstrated ability to analyze public, political, and media debates to identify opportunities for impactful strategic communications.
  • A track record of setting and achieving measurable goals in communications or media outreach, including monitoring and reporting on outcomes
  • An enthusiasm to embrace complex, technical topics and transform complicated substance into compelling narratives about the urgency and necessity of swift and ambitious climate action.
  • A genuine interest in and passion for addressing climate change.
  • The disposition to work generously with colleagues in a high-trust global community of peers.
  • The versatile and adaptable skills necessary to flourish in a fast-paced and wide-ranging work environment and work across time zones using tools such as Zoom, Slack and email (Google Workspace).
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, our working language as well as either Norwegian or Danish, a prerequisite for local media work.
You are based in Copenhagen, Denmark or able to work from there 3-5 days a week (with full weeks in the beginning while getting to know the job and the network).

Why join us?
